About Membery

Membery is a collective of creatives, makers, artists, seamstresses, clothing designers, painters, embroiderers, artists, etc. Our community lives with and follows sustainability practices. We are people who buy vintage, thrift, are active in swaps and “buy nothing” online communities.

Membery Founder

As someone who has saved a myriad of treasured heirlooms and nostalgic items from her mother and grandmother, Cerelle Centeno was inspired by Anderson Cooper’s podcast about grief and loss to start Membery. Cerelle drafted and planned the Membery concept in 2023. Since the beginning of 2024, she's been traveling the US, meeting upcycle designers and artists and finding one-of-a-kind revamped fashion (and, sometimes designing it herself, too).

Cerelle has worked in digital media and tech for over 15 years. She’s held positions in operations, product management, marketing and editorial across B2B and DTC companies such as eMarketer, Mount Sinai Medical Center, iCrossing, Horoscope.com and, most recently, Co–Star, the mobile app wildly popular among 18-25 year olds.
