This Membery original strips the sleeves off an Eddie Bauer denim jacket and replaces them with a white grandma square crochet blanket. Don't worry, we don't throw anything away! The denim gets reused for patches and other projects. I first spotted a similar jacket on the street in NYC, had a concept for this Membery iteration, then found a sewist in Kentucky on Tik Tok who made the concept a reality.

When I thrifted the jacket in California, there were sequins glued to the collar. I promptly removed them and replaced them with the vintage buttons you see here in the photos. A truly one-of-one piece.
