How the Universe Delivers

Let's Manifest!
I recently learned about a mentor/mentee relationship that was orchestrated by the CEO of a company that I'm freelancing with. My inner voice said, "hey, I want to do something like that," so when a former colleague reached out asking for advice about coaching a junior staffer, I offered to mentor her.
Similarly, I love partnering with other entrepreneurs for "momentum monthlies" in which we pose questions, get advice, and give each other homework for the next time we meet. I have been pondering how to make a relationship like this more formal - and how to stretch this kind of work beyond my immediate circle. Lo and behold, on the same day I had two friends-of-friends reach out on LinkedIn in search of advisors. What's more, I'll soon be meeting up with a woman who is aiming to start a fabric store and creative workspace here in the Hudson Valley and, like me, worked in digital for many years and is now trying to go from 0 to 1.
I have a lot to offer and still so much more to learn--especially when it comes to retail. Maybe it's the phases of the moon right now, maybe it's the time of year, but I have been really noodling these past few days about how and when I listen to my inner voice and methods to slow down enough to hear it in the first place.

I moved back to Hudson, NY, about four weeks ago. Hudson has very pleasantly evolved since I was last living here, but the vibe is similar. I'm glad because I think this is the kind of environment that will help me tune into my inner voice.
What are your methods for slowing down and listening?
